MULUND TALWALKARS organized a seminar on “SPINE CARE & NUTRITION” with help of Physio, the Elite Trainers & the Dieticians
Importance of spine care becomes very much vulnerable when it comes to backbone of human body.
To overcome with day – to – day’s life schedule, discomforts in physiological condition, major – minor injuries caused due t some wrong ways of body movements practiced unknowingly in daily routine - all plays a vital role in disturbing the balance of the structural unit – The Spine
When it comes to health & fitness – “A STITCH IN TIMES SAVES NINE” and yes for the very same reason – to impart best of knowledge to our keen & health cautious members – The physio & personal trainers at MULUND TALWALKARS took the task of delivering demonstrating the best of their skills and tactics that enables every single individual to held certain injuries related to back & spine at bay.
Seminar on spine was organized on 19th July’2008 – Saturday, were the physiotherapist – SNEHA explained in detail all about spine care. Followed her, personal trainer SANDESH, SIMON & MAKRAND demonstrated certain exercises which strengthens your back. Importance of body posture was explained by them & the nutritionist AVNI AND MANASI explained the diet regarding spine care, importance & pre and post workout meals as well as a Protein Rich Diet for the crowd looking up for a proper muscle built body.
Open house session was by default followed after the lectures which too turned beneficial for members.
On the very same day MULUND TALWALKARS felicitated winners of “FIT & ACTIVE COMPETITION” as well as Mr & Mrs TALWALKARS competition. These events were held in MAY’08 & SEPTEMBER’07
Winners were embelled with Talwalkars Trophy & Talwalkars Certificate. To present the same the guest of Honour Mrs Poonam GAMBHIR who is a member of MULUND TALWALKARS from last 2 years. To her credit she is a socialist & currently serves at the post of secretary for Inner wheel Club of Mulund.
The seminar & felicitation ceremony all together lasted for almost for 2 hours
In all it was a good knowledge grasping which developed a urge to know more & more about precautions & preventions of spine & its related injuries & later members dispersed after having a light refreshment.
